Certifications, what do they mean?
  • E.C.E - Early Childhood educator programs prepares individuals to meet the needs of the early childhood education profession. Gaining knowledge and developing practical skills necessary to foster social, emotional, cognitive and physical development from infancy to age 12.

  • PSW - Personal Support Worker – Flexible, organized care provider to a variety of age groups. Delivering care and support in personal care and home management.

  • DSW - Developmental service worker – provides service and care to those with special physical, emotional and social needs. The DSW learns effective methods for teaching and training those with disabilities of all types.

  • CSW - Community Service Worker – are trained to provide support to those that require emotional, behavioral and/or mental health issues or concerns.

  • CPI - Crisis prevention and Intervention, is a training program that teaches effective strategies for safely resolving situations when confronted by anxious, hostile or violent behavior, while still protecting the therapeutic relationships with those in their care.

  • CPR - Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation – is a training program designed to save lives. It teaches proper ratios of chest compressions and artificial respiration for adults and children.
